The Cornell Project

Iceland Renewable Energy Cluster, Reykjavík University and GRP ltd have been in colloboration with the Cornell University, US since 2019 with support from the Icelandic Government where the focus is on clean, renewable and sustainable projects. This projects is benefitting all parties and it´s aim is to build up colloboration within the energy industry in relation to knowledge sharing, sustainable management, higher education in this field as well as further research

A key objective is to market Iceland´s proven approach for providing integrated renewable and sustainable energy solutions - mirroring the successful Icelandic model and thereby tying together New York, Cornell, Iceland, and the clean energy economy. Given that both Iceland and Cornell University are on a similar path towards a non-carbon future, we feel there is much common ground to help each other to reach our goals.
